Let's work together
I've worked as a professional journalist for five years, most recently covering the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in Texas for the Houston Press.
I earned my master's from the Columbia School of Journalism in 2017, focusing on video storytelling and education reporting. You can find the documentary I produced with Rebecca Zissman, The High Note, prominently featured above.
Before Columbia, I worked as a reporter for a newspaper in southern Indiana, covering prep sports and the quiet, oftentimes odd, workings of midwestern life. In 2013, I graduated from DePauw University with a degree in English writing.
Do you have a story idea or a project you need help with?
