what’s your story.

Here’s mine. I started my career at a daily newspaper in southern Indiana. Long nights and quick turnarounds. It was grueling, but it was fun. I took many lessons from those years, but here’s the two most important ones:

  • Lead with what matters.

  • Favor specificity over clichés.

Since then, I’ve carried those tenets through every stage of my career—first in documentary and television news, and later in the commercial space, creating multi-platform campaigns for international brands.

Those years in the newsroom taught me how to listen closely, ask better questions, and keep a story honest. Whether I’m scripting a branded film, directing an interview, or managing a production team, my goal is the same: to make something clear, compelling, and true.

What’s your story? I’d love to help tell it.
